The participants will work with the local community and environmental experts from Environment Africa, Ministry of Tourism Zambia, Depertment of National Parks and United Children of Africa and Youth Alive Zambia. The work will involve the Uprooting lantana camara an alien invasive specie prevalent in the World Heritage Site destroying vegetation and biodiversity. Working in the Victoria Falls World Heritage Site- Zambian side- the volunteers will also do some capacity building program on environmental and sustainable development goals, Working at the Old People s home ,Working with farmers in agriculture projects- nutrition gardens, Camping on the Katombora islands and helping with construction of small community school and carrying out biodiversity management and Cultural interaction and cleaning at the Mukuni Traditional Village.
Accommodation: Volunteers should bring their own sleeping bags and a small matress. No running water, Pit latrines will be used. Volunteers will be staying at a camping site in the national park.
Special Remarks: Desire to work hard as well as being comfortable to work with people with from different backgrounds.
