Work: Tose is home for people with severe and multiple disabilities. It provides respite care, rehabilitation and training for caregivers. The volunteers will work with the staff members at Tose to provide respite care as well as rehabilitation for the disadvantaged. The volunteers will also help in the garden, kitchen laundry and any specific request from administration at Tose.

Accommodation: Volunteers will be accommodated in dorms separated according to gender. Volunteers should bring their own sleeping bag and small matress. Running water and water system toilets are available

What kind of work is involved?

The work greatly varies from one project to the other. It normally involves construction work in remote rural villages, nature conservation work, and restoration of historical monuments, bricks molding, sanitary and HIV / AIDS programmes, projects such as provision of water wells and erecting pit latrines / toilets. The communities may request us to perform other necessary specific tasks outside our programme agreement. This is a symbol of promoting intercultural understanding, tolerance and sensitivity of the community needs.
